The Somerset Sanctuary was so named by Caroline Hall Hovey, in her book of the same name.
Her writing inspired me to look further,
working with old maps, I was able to transpose some of the geoglyphs, and discover new ones.

Couple that with a mysterious mark on a Katharine Maltwood Map,
that says small effigy?
So I looked on Google Earth and found a red hillside called Gilling Down,
it looked interesting but nothing really stood out, so I looked on LIDAR,
houseprices.io. thats when every thing changed.
This small effigy labeled above the arm of Gemini, Christ Child, Horus,
is a Mans face carved into the hillside..
I think it looks like…
